The 4 of July is in the rearview mirror. Now
we’ve got a couple months of great summer
fishing for all species coming up before the
fall bite. The high water in area lakes that ru-
ined some holiday fishing plans is now reced-
ing. Shenango in particular was way high cre-
ating fishing problems, but Rick Como assures
us that summer patterns for crappies, white
bass and hybrid stripers are now kicking in.
However, the two foot rise in Pymatuning ac-
tually turned bass on as they moved into

Wilhelm largemouths are turned on. The Al-
legheny River is coming down and Gamma
