The waning days of the 2017 open water season are upon us in the NW PA. The late fall bite has been very good, and if you hurry you might still get in a couple days of fishing before lakes freeze up. Even as ice covers the lakes, don’t overlook opportunities for steelhead in the Erie tributaries and walleyes in the Allegheny River. Next month – ice fishing!
