We are going into the second week of Au-
gust. Like it or not, summer is rapidly
waning. Don’t wait until it’s too late. No
excuses. GO FISH NOW! There are ex-
cellent fishing opportunities, including
walleye on Erie, smallmouth bass on the
River, largemouth bass at Wilhelm and
PIB, crappies and white bass at She-
nango and big bluegills at Conneaut Lake
and other lakes. And if that isn’t enough,
the Erie perch bite appears to be improv-
ing—as witnessed by photo on the left: 12
-year old Christian Ludwig with a jumbo
