March 20, 2020 NW PA Fishing Report
With warmer-than-usual late winter weather, it may feel like spring is behind schedule because we can’t get out of the 30s and 40s. Actually, we are a tad ahead of schedule when you compare past fishing logs. We are on the cusp of fantastic spring fishing for warmwater species in NW PA. If the forecast holds, look for a significant increase in fish activity starting shortly March 25. In the meantime, get out steelhead fishing, perch fishing or pick a nice warm day for the very early crappie bite.
