April 6 NW PA Fishing Report

Spring is finally breaking through in NW PA. Everything is happening…early spring walleye bite in full swing at Pymatuning, crappies and perch hitting in the shallows of many lakes, smallmouth bass and largemouth bass are putting on the feedbag on inland lakes, muskies are on the prowl as they prepare for spawning, and stocked trout are being tossed into streams. On Lake Erie, smallmouth bass are sliding into PIB from the big water, and soon the lake trout bite will be happening offshore. GO FISH!
