It feels like fall in Northwest PA, and the fish know it. So far in October, it has been an absolute awesome smallmouth bite on the Allegheny River, French Creek, Shenango Lake/Shenango River and other inland lakes. Up Lake Erie way, steelhead are staged at creek mouths and slightly upstream waiting on a good rainfall...
