February 17, NW PA Fishing Report
This has been a very confusing winter in Northwest Pennsylvania. Warm well into January, but ice finally comes on late, only to be followed by a complete thaw within two weeks. Ice off, then a polar freeze puts ice back on; steelhead streams froze, unfroze and froze again. Everyone is hoping the ground hog was correct with the call of an early spring to get us out of this off and on winter.
