May 24, NW PA Fishing Report
As we move into late May, many anglers continue to struggle on area lakes as they seek their favorite fish. This has been a very odd spring and anticipated bites for particular species are not materializing. Fishing success is far from consistent. But there are bright spots – including smallmouth bass on Lake Erie and hybrid stripers on Shenango River Lake. Hopefully June weather will bring warmth and stability to the region.
