Rain, rain come this way! With rain and cooler temperatures forecast for NW PA over the next ten days, anglers are getting excited about fall fishing. Right now steelheads are hanging near the mouths of the Erie tributaries waiting on rain to raise the creeks. Smallmouth bass bite on the Allegheny will pick up with additional flow in the river, too. Daytime temps in the 60s and cold rain will help cool the unusually warm lakes. As we move into October, here in Pennsylvania, the long-anticipated fall bite will begin slow and build through November.
