October 6th issue of NW PA Fishing Report
October brings cooler water temperatures, which in turn triggers many gamefish to begin feeding more aggressively before the big chill. Smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, crappies, yellow perch, muskies and walleyes are becoming more active inland waters through the region. The bite for these fish should pick up through October. Erie steelhead in process of making their way up PA’s north coast tributaries. Lots of opportunities in NW PA. Just get out and GO FISH!
