Sandi @ Gateway Bait & Tackle; filed 11-5: Not much being reported since there are few an-
glers about. I did receive reports of walleyes being caught off the Causeway. Also a customer
caught a 42 inch musky.
Patty @ Poff’s Place; filed 11-5: So few guys fishing the lake right now; with all the bad weath-
er it’s hard to get reports. One customer did mention he caught 20 walleyes while fishing off
the Causeway – however, none were legal size.
Conneaut Lake

11-5: Looks like Sunday Nov 4 may have been my
last day of boat fishing this season on area lakes. But
after couple bad days on Conneaut in October, we
had a good one to end the season. We were tucked
tight against weedline drop-offs, working blade baits
and jigs. I landed more bass than Darl, who was hav-
ing a difficult day keeping fish buttoned. We caught
both largemouth and smallmouth bass with large-
mouth lightly hooked in lip whereas each smallmouth
engulfed the blade. (See photos)
ERIE COUNTY
Dominic @ Lake Erie Bait & Tackle; filed 11-5: The hotspots for perch this past weekend has
been Liberty Park, Water Works and Marina Lake. A few guys have been catching steelhead in
Marina Lake, too. One customer reported catching a mess of perch from the shore in Misery
Bay.
Lynne @ East End Angler; filed 11-5: Steelhead are in all the East Side
streams, including Four Mile, Seven Mile, Twelve Mile, Sixteen Mile and
Twenty Mile. Seven Mile has given up a couple 8 pounders near the
mouth. Twelve Mile has yielded some lake run brown trout. They have
been catching Lake Trout and Brown Trout from inside the NE Marina. In
PIB, the perch bite is good at Liberty Park and crappies at Border Patrol
Dock. And they are catching a few walleyes at Liberty Park, East Avenue
Boat Ramp and South Pier; best walleye bite at South Pier is from 11 pm
to 3 am on blades like the Vib-E and Cicada. Last week, Dave Lefebre
caught his first big lake trout while taping a show for Erie Extreme; view it
when new season starts this winter. Eaton Reservoir has a decent panfish
bite right now. (See Photos)
