Jeff @ Poor Richards; filed 11-5: Creeks have been good. Rains have brought fresh run of steel-
head in. Levels have dropped to make them fishable. Minnows and single eggs are best. More
rain expected this week. Earlier in the season, we were seeing a number of 7 to 8.5 pound
trout; now we are seeing the typical average of 6.5 to 7 pounds.

John @ Uncle John’s Elk Creek Campground; filed 11/4: Our guests have been having great suc-

cess in the lower sections of Elk Creek. See our photos on Steelhead Alley Photo Page of this
        report.

Josh Reece; filed 11-5: Made a trip to Erie tributaries. Even with the muddy water we managed
to land a few decent fish with my buddy Austin Hipp. (See photos in Steelhead Alley)

RJ Graham (Tionesta); filed 11-5: I ventured up to Erie on Sunday be-
cause all the rivers were blown out. Erie did not disappoint. We got over
30 smallies on tubes. Bass were around 20 feet deep and stacked up.

Paul Stewart (Butler); filed 11-4: Went perch fishing in Presque Isle Bay
on Saturday. It was very windy and therefore hard to find a good spot to
fish. We tried the PI Marina and did reasonably well there.

Dennis Beggs (Franklin); filed 11-1: A couple buddies and I made our
first trip of the season to Erie for steelhead last week. The six steelhead
caught were released for future fun for others to catch. We fished at
mouth of Trout Run. All six were taken on egg sacs under a float and on
Powerbait fished on the bottom. Fly fishermen near us caught over 20 RJ with Erie Smallie
steelhead using two fly patterns: blood-dot nuke-egg and crystal-meth

pattern. Kim Slye and Jeff Dinger are in the pictures with fish. Thanks to you and Marilyn for
your continuing work on producing the Fishing Reports. (See photos in Steelhead Alley)

Keith @ Dutch Fork Custom Lures (Cochranton); filed 10-27: Keith Eshbaugh fished with bud-

Walnut Creek on Thursday, Oct 25 . Running Dipsy Divers
and custom Thundersticks, we found a big school of bait
and walleye in 55 feet. We landed 15 walleyes and one

perch. Then went jigging with spoons and caught sheeps-
head, white perch and 3 more walleyes. A little chilly but
                                                 worth the trip. (See photos)
