September 2, 2020 issue of the NW PA Fishing Report
Summer is on the way out and fall is on the way in. Fish patterns will be changing soon. Transition season is usually a tough bite, but not if you make the right choice. If you are looking for action this coming Labor Day weekend, consider Erie walleye fishing (if seas are calm), Allegheny River smallmouth (if you can navigate the weed growth in the river), catfish at Pymatuning (40-pound flathead last week), or hybrid stripers & white bass at Shenango River Lake. Just GO FISH!
