September 23, 2020 issue of the NW PA Fishing Report

NW PA is in the midst of seasonal change from late summer to fall. Several fish species are on the move to different locations as baitfish shift to fall mode. Fishing success is most often mixed – good one day, not so good the next – especially with severe cold fronts hitting the region. Erie walleye bite on downward trend; Erie tributaries lack sufficient water flow to drawn steelhead upstream. However, better times are coming in October and November.
