Serious winter weather has arrived in NW Pennsylvania. For the ice addicts who have been biting their fingernails waiting for hardwater – it’s here! Allegheny River, French Creek, Erie tributaries are locked up with ice and pretty much out of play until a winter thaw. There is fishable ice on some section of practically every inland lake in NW PA. But always go forth onto ice with great caution for no ice is truly absolutely safe.
