Nov 17th issue of NW PA Fishing Report
Unusual fall weather has created ups and downs in the NW PA Fishing. Lack of rain has rivers and streams at very low levels for this time of year. This is most evident in the Erie tributaries where steelhead are stuck near the mouth or isolated in a few holes that have water. Fish have not been able to spread throughout the mid and upper parts of stream. On inland lakes, fishing success has been less than expected for several species during the fall – although river smallmouth bass have been on a strong feed for weeks.
