           - 10-15: Went out on the 14 for perch in Presque Isle Bay from shore.
Lot of small ones but did manage a dozen keepers. Water temp
needs to drop some for the bite to happen.
           - 10-22: Perch fishing on PIB in late October in our t-shirts! What’s up
               with that? (See photo)

Jim McClave (Andover); filed 10-21: I had a great time recently with Dave Paul Stewart
Horvath on Lake Erie. The walleyes were hitting good. We even caught a
few steelhead and white bass. Great day out on the lake. Thanks Dave!

Pete Cartwright @ Smallies on the Yough; filed 10-20: On the 18 I was
helping a friend put his boat away for the winter in Erie. But before we
        did, we went fishing. I landed a nice 28 inch walleye going 8 pounds;
caught on a 412ube in 20 feet of water. But I released it to swim with the

Thomas Watral (Erie); filed 10-20: Perch fishing in Presque Isle Bay is
picking up. At South Pier and Dobbins Landing they are getting 8 to 10

inch perch. Over at Liberty Park the perch have been running 10 to 11
inches. Lots of steelhead jumping in the Bay, too.

change. Fishing from shore, I slammed perch on minnows. Sizes
ranged from 8 to 12 inches. Ended up with 50 nice ones plus a few crappies and bluegills. Looks
        like lake is coming back.

Bill @ Griffin’s Bait & Tackle: One of our customers, Scott Selles, caught this
lunker largemouth bass from Lake Wilhelm recently. The bass was 21 inches
long and weighed 5 pounds; it fell for a 5 inch Senko worm. Scott released it
to be caught another day… (See photo)
