FRENCH CREEK – Flowing through all four counties
Tabitha @ Myers Sportsman’s Connection; filed 11/19: No one is fishing out our way. No re-
ports from Woodcock Lake or French Creek. Heck even Boone Shay has not been on the Creek
lately. This is an excellent time of the year for French Creek to be giving up nice walleyes on

French Creek but the weather is so depressing no one is out. Those that are going fishing are
        headed to Erie for steelhead.

        CRAWFORD COUNTY

        Pymatuning Lake
Dave @ Richter’s Bait & Tackle; filed 11/19: Hardly anyone on the lake. But those who are
putting up with the wet, cold, windy weather are being rewarded with some nice walleyes –
both in the lake and in the spillway below the dam. Number one ‘eye lure – Sonars. I had one
report from a customer who caught some nice crappies; he kept 8.

Russ @ Gateway Bait; filed 11/19: Only a few people are fishing. They have been reporting a

lot of small walleyes in the 7” to 8” range and in the 13” to 14” range. Looks like we have good
year classes coming up. There have been reports of a lot of penciled-size perch with very few
keepers. We’ve been out picking away at walleyes in the boat; getting a few but nothing to get
        excited about.

Dave Lefebre @Erie Extreme; filed 11-15: We finished

up a great 3-day shoot at Pymatuning filming episodes
for Season 3 of Erie Extreme with my little brother,
Nate. We caught 30 smallmouth bass on day 1 using
Steelshads and the new larger size Rapala Rip Stop –
all on one shallow point. On Day 2 we caught 30 large-
mouths mostly on a Rapala Rippin’ Rap on a new color
called Purple Clown. The LMB were on a grass flat.
