July 24, NW PA Fishing Report

It’s beginning to feel a lot more like a normal summer. Let’s hope it continues so everyone can get back out fishing. The walleye fishing on Erie remains off the charts. If the weather allows you to get out, it’s almost a guarantee to limit out with walleye within a couple hours on the big water. And there are ‘eyes still shallow as well as deep. On inland waters, the best bites seem to be largemouth bass in lakes, bluegills and bowfin. Flowing water smallmouths are in recovery stage after all the high, dirty water.
