Summer fishing is in full swing. Summer means a shift to deeper water for some species. A little more work may be required to locate and entice fish to bite. But there is still plenty of opportunities in NW Pennsylvania during the summer, including offshore trolling on Lake Erie for walleyes, river and stream fishing for smallmouth bass, big bluegills on deeper hard bottom points, white bass schooling on the surface, and catfish, catfish, catfish.
