Feb 16th issue of NW PA Fishing Report

Another record-setting winter for overall warm temperatures in NW PA. Ice cover came on late as result of a short extreme cold snap in early January. But safe ice lasted only about one week. The result of the late January thaw flushed the steelhead creeks, opened the Allegheny and melted all ice on lakes. Anglers have been fishing from boats and shore, doing well on a variety of species. Check out the Report. However, some cold weather late this week will put a damper on anyone expecting to start fishing early spring patterns.
