Norm @ Jamestown Marina; filed 5/20: My customers started
the weekend off nicely with walleye catches by trolling plugs in
deeper water. They were also catching some by drifting jig-n-
crawler. Crappies have been iffy – seems the bite is going up and
down with the weather; mixed reports. Dom’s 1st fish of the day
Dave @ Richter’s Bait; filed 5/20: The night bite for walleyes this
past week was awesome! Bomber Long A is the ticket. Daytime
drifters didn’t seem to be doing as well on walleye this week as
last week. Crappies are in spawning areas. And the musky bite
continues. (see photos)
Vicki @ Duck-n-Drake; filed 5/20: The reports over the weekend
said 6 to 10 feet of water was the best depth for both walleyes
and crappies. Walleyes were taken on crawler harnesses. (See Fishin’ Frank nite bite
photos)
