have been rather consistent and getting better. An-

4. Hunting musky? For this 4 , I would say the top
picks are Pymatuning and Canadohta Lake.
5. Bowfin? Conneaut Outlet at Custards or Lake
LeBeouf.
6. Want a holiday getaway to a quiet lake just to catch Wilhelm crappies/ Evan Tate
something? Try Justus Lake in Two Mile Run Park
(electric motors) and Pleasant Lake (no motors). Justus offers largemouth and
smallmouth bass, musky, panfish, trout (it’s a two-story fishery) and occasionally
a big walleye. Lake Pleasant is coldwater lake with summer trout catches possi-
ble. Also bass, crappies and big perch.
7. Waters that will likely be too high and muddy for comfortable fishing: Shenango
Lake, Woodcock Creek Lake, Allegheny River and probably French Creek. The
campground at Shenango is closed indefinitely due to high water and associated
problems.
