P. 6
Brian@ Poor Richards; filed 4-22: Getting perch off North and South Piers, and crappies
in the Marina Lake and Lagoons. There are a few steelheads in the west side streams.
Plus, the Gravel Pit has been giving up stocked trout taken on fathead minnows.
Edinboro Lake
Rebecca Boyles (Edinboro); field 4-22: I don’t have any photos to share. But we fish Pen-
insula Park on Lake Edinboro until it becomes too weedy to do so. We’ve been catching
very large bluegills, crappies and decent size perch.
MERCER COUNTY
Jon @ Consumer Direct Sports; filed 4-22: We are hearing about good walleye night bite
at Pymatuning with Rapala Minnows and Bomber Long A. We just finished up our big
spring fishing sale, but still have great buy on inflatable PFD for $89.00; we also have
breathable chest waders at a great price, too. And don’t forget we carry Gamma Line.
Lake Wilhelm
Bo @ BC Bait Co.; filed 4-21: Crappies, perch and bluegills are biting
on the northern end of Lake Wilhelm. The white Terry Bug from BC
Bait has been very popular with anglers for catching good numbers
of fish. I talked to a few anglers who reported
catching over 100 fish on Saturday. Also spoke
with a few anglers who reported catching large
bluegills in the bays between Launch 4 and
Dugan’s Run. Carp have been very active around
the old road north of Millegeville Road. A couple

of our pro staff guys hit the Erie tribs on Satur-
day and got a couple of steelhead on the Bubble Gum Hadley
Worm. (See photos) BC Bait photo
Corey @ Lake Wilhelm Marina; filed 4-22: I’ll be getting boats in the water this week
and they will be available to rent. Call ahead to make sure I’m in the office when you ar-
rive.
