son Rob and I managed to boat nice keeper perch on jigs tipped with minnows, and later
            I caught five walleyes after dark on a Floating Rapala #11. The ‘eyes ranged from 23 to
            26 inches, and biggest weighed 7 pounds. Total weight for the five ‘eye was 28 pounds.

                                     John Wipula, Conneaut Lake; filed 5-7: Fishing this week between
                                     Conneaut Lake and Pymatuning has bee like the weather…hot and
                                     cold. Best catch was this nice smallmouth bass taken on a Big Bite
                                     Bait 3” Shad. (See photo)

                                     Bryan Stuyvesant, Meadville; filed 5/6: I fished Conneaut Lake
                                     with a friend for crappies this past weekend. Lake is cold. Crappies

                                     have not moved up yet. Only caught one in ten feet of water off
                                     point.

                                     Dale Clemmer, Cochranton; filed 5/7: Dale landed this 22-inch
                                     bowfin from the Conneaut Lake Outflow.

                                      Jerry @ Timberland Bait; filed 5/6: Guys are getting a few crap-
                                      pies in Canadohta on days it’s not blowing. Although there are
                                      still trout in the local streams, these fish were not cooperative
                                      this weekend. According to customers, the hot spot for pike right

                                      now is Sparty Pond at Spartanburg.
